Hand Embroidered Quilt Labels (beta program)
What do I mean by 'beta program?'
After creating a custom label for my sister's wedding quilt (shown in the listing), I discovered that I thoroughly enjoyed the art of embroidery! I had a hard time finding someone who offered hand embroidered labels for quilts and I figured that there may be others like me looking for a similar product. So, here I am!
I am offering a reduced, flat rate for embroidered labels while I am learning and refining my technique, which I am calling a 'beta program.' While I always strive to deliver the best product possible, the finished product may not be as refined as a professional with years of experience. This reduced rate will be in effect until I establish a consistent, high quality product.

What is included?
-2 Large Letter Names (name & name or first last)
-1 Date (dd/mm/yyyy or yyyy-yyyy)
-1 Border
What are the Add-On options?
-$10 add on for signature using a single line font (i.e. 'quilted by name' or 'with love, name')
-$5 for each additional graphic (i.e. flowers, shapes, etc.)
How does it work?
After finalizing your order, customization information (such as color scheme, theme, inspiration photos, pinterest boards etc.) must be sent to me through my email fiberartisantheo@gmail.com.
We will need to establish the following before I begin:
-Font(s)
-Border Design
-Color(s)
-Layout/Shape
-Add-On Elements (see below listings)
You can be as involved in this process as you would like. If you have a clear image of what you would like please let me know! Alternatively, if you simply want to point me in a general direction, I can independently create a design for your approval.
For color options I will be using 6 strand DMC embroidery thread. Feel free to use their color numbers if you have something specific in mind, otherwise I can use a color reference or general description to pick one which is appropriate. The base fabric will be 100% cotton (white unless otherwise specified).
**After the approval of the design, there can be no further changes**
Once the label is complete I will wash and iron it before mailing it to you, tracking number included. I will not be finishing the edges, adding interfacing, or squaring it up unless otherwise requested, it will arrive with extra fabric on all sides so you can finish or use it however you want. If you need any extra space or fabric let me know and I can accommodate within reason.
Please plan for at least 4 weeks of processing time for the label, please let me know if you have a specific deadline which needs to be met and I can accommodate to the best of my abilities.
